Ubisoft has confirmed that it’ll be releasing more content for open-world multiplayer shooter The Division 2 in a message to fans from the development team. In the message, the game’s development team noted that the game’s most recent update this weekend—Title Update 12— was intended as the final major update for the game, but said to fans: “thanks to your continued support, we are now in the early stages of development for fresh content to release later in 2021....

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for PS4 and Xbox One will begin a limited beta test beginning tomorrow, Zenimax Online has announced. The limited public beta will only be open to those who receive an invite, and you’ll need to have previously signed up to take part. This will be the only beta for the console game, with the full launch set for June 9. Not everyone who signed up to take part will receive an invite....

The Epic Games Store must be feeling generous, because it’s giving away a whopping three games for free on April 15. The current freebie, 3 out of 10: Season 2, will end that same day. Today, The Game Awards announced that its big end-of-year event would take place on Thursday, Dec. 8, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Calif. Their 9th annual show will be streamed across 40 digital video platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and Tiktok. The Game Awards 2022 will feature a new category known as Best Adaptation to recognize creative work that adapts video games into other media formats such as movies, shows, podcasts, and books....

In adapting The Haunting of Hill House, the iconic 1959 supernatural novel by Shirley Jackson, creator Mike Flanagan stripped the house down to the studs. It’s a risky take, considering the high regard the literary community holds for Jackson’s work. A new live-action adaptation of a video game is in the works, as a Street Fighter TV show has been announced. The most exciting part of the announcement is that it will be produced by the team who made the incredible Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist fan series. The Street Fighter TV series is being developed by a company called Entertainment One. Mark Gordan (the President of Entertainment One) is backing the project, while the team behind Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist will act as the Executive Producers on the project....
