If you have kept up with Square Enix’s releases within the past few years, then you have likely heard of Triangle Strategy. Released back in March, Triangle Strategy had its development handled by Producer Tomoya Asano, who set this game apart from Octopath Traveler, his previous work, by making it a tactical RPG rather than a more traditional RPG. Adding to the list of “there’s a sim for that,” Aerosoft unveiled the new CityDriver at its NextSim 22 presentation. Described as a “your car simulator,” players will be able to use this sim to explore a virtual version of Munich, Switzerland. It’ll feature a variety of different vehicle types with the choice of combustion engines and electric-powered cars. Rather than being yet another option in the plethora of racing titles, CityDriver is taking some pages out of the books of other driving sims like Euro Truck Simulator 2 and is seeking to offer a richly detailed driving experience that can actually train players to hone their skills....

It’s not often that you get to attack an angel and still retain your good guy status. Bayonetta is renowned for having some of the largest, and most difficult bosses to get through. NHL 20 is EA’s latest installment in their NHL franchise, and it’s been met with some praise and some criticism. The Nintendo GameCube definitely doesn’t have the biggest selection of survival games. In fact, its competitors, the Xbox and PlayStation 2, had much better survival titles. Wrestling company AEW has announced that their upcoming console game will officially go by the name AEW Fight Forever. Wrestler Evil Uno made the announcement via the AEW Games Twitch channel in a special presentation last night. During the broadcast, he also confirmed that the game will be launching on PC as well as consoles. In addition, he also confirmed two more of the promotion’s roster whom have made it into the Yuke’s developed grappler....

Tom Clancy’s The Division has become Ubisoft’s biggest-ever launch, selling more copies in its first 24 hours than any game in the publisher’s history. This means the squad-shooter bettered day one sales of Ubisoft’s previous record-holder Watch Dogs. In addition total digital game sales also set a new single-day record for Ubisoft across PC, Xbox One and PS4. “The launch of The Division is a tremendous achievement for Ubisoft, and demonstrates our unrivalled capacity to create fantastic new game brands and transform them into entertainment blockbusters,” said Yves Guillemot, co-founder and CEO, Ubisoft....

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has a release date; it is coming out on September 1st, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The developer, Daedalic Entertainment, made the announcement today, saying that a Switch version is due out later in the year. The studio didn’t give a set date for that one.
