Yes, Joker might be a comic-book movie posing as something loftier (namely, a Scorsese-style crime thriller), but it is a comic-book movie. Of course, it’s not the first one to be nominated for a Best Picture Oscar–that honor went to last year’s Black Panther–but it is the first one that seems to be in with a very real chance of taking home the top prize....

Tequila Works has announced that its well-received puzzle-adventure Rime will launch on Nintendo Switch, coming on November 17 in Europe and November 14 in North America. It’ll release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for £29.99, with a physical version costing £39.99. The physical version will come with a physical copy of the game and a download code for the game’s soundtrack. Nintendo Switch fans anxiously waiting for The Outer Worlds to make its way to the handheld hybrid are in for some disappointing news, as the Switch version of the game has been delayed due to the continued outbreak of the coronavirus, a disease currently ravaging many parts of the world. No new date for the port has been given as of this writing. Taking to Twitter, Private Division, the publisher behind The Outer Worlds, announced the delay, naming the coronavirus as the specific cause of the setback....

The Witcher is one of today’s beloved RPG franchises. The franchise is such a big deal that Poland’s Prime Minister gave The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings as a present. Rockstar Games has polished off the latest update for Grand Theft Auto Online, with Sumo (Remix) leading the charge. Things have been switched up a bit, though. The safe mode now moves around after the timer has expired, and also shrinks each time. As such, it’s now a lot harder to avoid burning to a crisp. Super Nintendo World might be the most anticipated addition to Universal Studios since the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. To add to fans’ excitement, photos were posted to Twitter of recent developments to the attraction. Stated to be behind the JAWS Ride, a Twitter account linked with Universal Studios Japan posted three pictures showing part of Super Nintendo World. These include a picture providing an overview of what could be an area from a 2D Mario game, the flag marking the end of a level in a 2D Mario game, and a POW block associated with granting the player either coins or power-ups....

Boo-yah! Cyborg was definitely a very popular character in the show Teen Titans, and who wouldn’t love this guy? He’s funny and a bit goofy, but he can also be serious when the time calls for it. This guy knows what it takes to work as part of a team. He has a bit of a no-nonsense way of dealing with criminals (but he’s not nearly as serious as Robin), and he knows how to get the job done....

Tekken 7 has entered the UK charts this week at number one, and has pushed Injustice 2 down to number three.
