Dishonored 2 was easily one of the standout titles of the current generation of consoles, but it seems developer Arkane Studios is in no rush to pump out a new entry in the acclaimed stealth-action franchise. I didn’t believe this day would come. Almost 12 years have passed since Trails from Zero’s Japanese launch and many JRPG fans had given up on the idea of an official western release. Nintendo has just announced that the third entry in their Labo series of gaming kits will be available in a few months time. The next Labo set will be based on vehicles and will come packaged with a unique game that will allow you to drive, dive, and fly across the world. As The Outer Worlds inches closer to its October release date, developer Obsidian Entertainment is releasing more information as to what to expect for the upcoming RPG. During a showcase today, Capcom at last presented some much-desired gameplay footage for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake. For the most part, the game certainly evokes memories of the 2004 survival horror classic. But, as expected, there are some very clear changes (and not just graphically). The remake is putting on a much more serious air and, while still campy, it’s not quite as campy as the original. At least, not from what we see in the new trailers....

Resident Evil has now sold over 90 million units worldwide since its inception in 1996, Capcom has announced. As you’ve probably twigged, this makes Resi by far Capcom’s most successful franchise to date. In terms of individual games, Resident Evil 5 is the best-selling entry in the survival horror series to date. Resident Evil 0, 1, and 4 will be hitting the Nintendo Switch in May, while Capcom launched a full-blown remake of Resident Evil 2 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One last month....

The Uncharted movie has a new director, Travis Knight, who will be filling in the post left behind by Dan Tratchenberg (via Deadline). Knight is known for his work at Laika, the stop-motion animation company that made Coraline, ParaNorman, and The Boxtrolls. He was the producer and lead animator on those movies, and Knight has directed Kubo and the Two Strings in 2016 and Bumblebee in 2018. The adaptation has had a shaky time of it all....
