Today Naughty Dog shared a new video clip of its upcoming The Last of Us remake The Last of Us Part 1. The video is brief, but it’s plenty to show a scene with a completely different atmosphere. Unfortunately, Twitter’s compression doesn’t particularly help, but the improved lighting is really impressive and changes the mood of the scene radically. Textures and models also appear to be very much improved, bringing the old game close to on par with The Last of Us Part II....

Jason Statham and director Jon Turteltaub’s giant shark movie The Meg will presumably do to theaters the opposite of what Syfy’s Sharknado series has done to television. “A Film by Peter Parker” The flick kicks off on a bit of a wobble, with a fairly unremarkable introduction for Michael Keaton’s Adrian Toomes that’s followed quickly by a continuity flab that claims this 2017 movie takes place “Eight Years Later” than 2012’s Avengers Assemble. Obsidian’s dystopian sci-fi RPG The Outer Worlds hasn’t been out for long (less than a week, in fact), but players are already hard at work uncovering every possible route through the game. That includes speed-running, and one The Outer Worlds player has managed to beat the game in record time: his playthrough clocked in at under 25 minutes. A typical The Outer Worlds playthrough will obviously take a good deal longer to complete; the general estimate for most players is over 40 hours of gameplay....
