After an uneven premiere, The Passage has consistently delivered weekly as a character-driven genre series that balances elements of horror and sci-fi. Now, with the table set, all hell breaks loose in a thrilling two-hour finale that would serve as a satisfying conclusion to the series (if it is not renewed), but hopefully is just the beginning of this epic tale....

After seven years and three playthroughs later, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is still more compelling to me than almost every other game I’ve played since 2015. I’m even more convinced than ever now, too, having enjoyed its long-awaited next-generation update on PS5. The patch adds a final sheen of polish to further elevate CD Projekt Red’s magnum opus, which still feels to me like a benchmark of quality not only for RPGs but video games in general....

Here, we find the plucky hero sweating it through boot camp in an effort to become a full-fledged Guardian. This includes being able to dress up like someone from one of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 80s training videos, with unitards, legwarmers, wristbands, and other era-appropriate clobber. It even features a gloriously hammy soundtrack to top it all off....

Atlus began operating in 1986. They are known most for their Shin Megami Tensei series besides being an all-around great publisher for obscure and or weird RPGs. In 2013 Sega bought them out, making fans cringe at the idea, wishing it would not affect their development cycles or game decisions. Thankfully, the worse has not happened and Shadow the Hedgehog 2 has not been greenlit by them.
