A few weeks ago, I was able to try The Anacrusis. It’s a co-op shooter from Stray Bombay, a studio helmed by Chet Faliszek (formerly of Valve) and Kimberly Voll (formerly of Riot Games). Think of the experience as akin to Left 4 Dead in space. However, given that The Anacrusis released as part of Steam’s Early Access program, there were a lot of issues to iron out. Additionally, I was mostly playing solo prior to the launch due to timezone differences....

The English version of Moon: Remix RPG Adventure won’t be released anytime soon, as the writer of the game has confirmed that the translation is roughly 40% complete, despite previous claims that it would be coming soon. Moon: Remix RPG Adventure was a bizarre JRPG that was released for the original PlayStation back in 1997. The game parodied and played with the tropes of the JRPGs from the 16-bit era. An English localization of Moon: Remix RPG Adventure was planned back in 1997, but it never came to pass and the game remained in Japan....

The biggest question that arises when it comes to a film like The Happytime Murders is ‘how?’. How did a concept so weird and seemingly brilliant amount to a film so lacklustre and boring? How can a project that’s been circling around Hollywood for so many years feel half-finished? The answer likely lies in a million different things, but that doesn’t make the end result any less disappointing. Brian Henson’s attempt to bring his family business into R-rated territory could have been great, but instead The Happytime Murders is a pedestrian cum joke stretched to 91-minutes....

The Last of Us: Part 2 still doesn’t have a release date, but Naughty Dog has given us a fresh update on how development is coming along. According to Neil Druckmann, who serves as creative director and co-writer on the title, Naughty Dog has just filmed the game’s ending scene. The news comes not long after Laura Bailey confirmed she had finished mo-cap work on the highly anticipated PlayStation 4-exclusive sequel....

The Last of Us was a masterpiece. Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic game released on the PlayStation 3 in 2013 and was remastered for the PlayStation 4 in 2014. It was rewarded Game of the Decade from numerous news outlets and received many game of the year awards in 2013. Now fans are eagerly anticipating the sequel, which recently got delayed until May. Even though the original was extremely well done, some nitpicky mechanics could’ve been better....

Previous whispers suggesting Metal Gear Survive would be an always online title have turned out to indeed be true. Rich Walker, from our sister sites Xbox Achievements and PlayStation Trophies, played Metal Gear Survive at a preview event and confirmed that Konami’s upcoming Metal Gear spin-off needs a permanent internet connection. The main reason for always online appears to be the fact Survive will integrate your single player progress and rewards into the cooperative shenanigans....

A new report claims that the PlayStation 5 is getting games exclusive to its platform, which is a contrast to the Xbox Series X which will possess games playable on the Xbox One and PC (via games radar). Kotaku’s Jason Schreier made the claim in the latest episode of its Splitscreen podcast—the comments begin around the 29:00 mark. “I’ve heard some of the PS5 launch titles, I won’t say them yet… but those will be PS5 only,” said Schreier....

It is their annual Christmas episode, and these halls are decked. The episode features evergreen favorite recurring villain Sideshow Bob, who trims his tree with ornaments of bleeding Barts. And it bottoms out with Springfield’s favorite Grinch. After what appears to be another ingenious escape from the revolving door penal system in Springfield, Sideshow Bob winters by the sea, where he tends a lighthouse....
