The recent hack and subsequent shutdown of the PlayStation Network this past week has prevented many gamers from taking advantage of several online opportunities — namely Mortal Kombat matches and Portal 2 Steam integration. However, one little game that could, inFamous 2, has quietly been taking a large hit from the PSN shutdown in that its private beta has had all of its community unable to participate. Meant to test out some of inFamous 2’s more sandbox elements — being able to create your own story missions a la LittleBigPlanet — the private beta began earlier this month, but hit a real snag when the PSN went down....

Warner Bros Games and Rocksteady have offered up a new trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, finally showcasing some gameplay for the first time. The footage was teased earlier this week and indeed was shown during The Game Awards. Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn, Deadshot and King Shark all get some time in the spotlight. Quinn swings around with her trusty baseball bat, while King Shark’s strength lets him wield a minigun....

Following a week of beta testing, Survios has now set a release date for their all-action VR title Sprint Vector. Sprint Vector launches on 8 February for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. In Sprint Vector players join Mr. Entertainment in his all-action game show where the “fastest sprinters” are “recruited” from around the universe compete in 8 vs 8 challenges. Players need to navigate through challenging courses utilising power-ups and generally leaping their way through levels while waving their arms around a lot....

It’s been announced by Nightdive Studios that System Shock 2 is getting an enhanced edition. Nightdive Studios is going to enhance and revamp the 1999 classic for the modern systems in order to commemorate the game’s 20th anniversary. System Shock 2 is still considered one of the defining games for PC in the 1990s. Popular games like Prey 2 and the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 have been inspired by System Shock which clearly shows that this old-school game has stood the test of time....

Telltale has today announced that The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – The Final Season (working title) is in development for a 2018 release. Whilst no details have been confirmed about the plot, we do know that the story once again focuses on Clementine following her experiences in The New Frontier. Telltale confirmed that the fourth and (reportedly) final season will focus on Clementine as the lead protagonist, allowing players to step back into the shoes of the ‘fan favourite character’....

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for The Dark Pictures: House of Ashes, focusing on the game’s cast of characters. While Hollywood star Ashley Tisdale might be the biggest name, she’s not the sole character you’ll be either keeping alive or meeting a grisly fate in the horror. Other cast members include Ted Lasso‘s Moe Jeudy-Lamour and X-Men Dark Phoenix actor Alex Gravenstein. There’s also HBO’s Spartacus actor Nick E....

Another one to add to the stable of survival games currently de-rigeur in gaming. The Darwin Project is coming to Xbox One and Windows 10. No other details have yet been released, but think of it as a cartoon-styled Hunger Games and you’re there.

Along with the update 1.16 on February 12th, The Division 2 added some in-game bonuses for everyone who preordered the DLC. The bonuses are included only if players preorder before April 3, and it includes a level 40 shotgun, an NYC police uniform outfit, and a level 30 boost. But when access to the preorder bonuses went live on the 12th, some players had a hard time figuring out how to get the level 30 boost to work....

The Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling came back for a brilliant second season on Netflix, and while the show is fictional, it was inspired by the real life GLOW, a show which aired on Saturday mornings in the US in the late 80s.
