Coming this year from developer Every Single Soldier is a new ship command game called Her Majesty’s Ship where players will have to command an 18th century Royal Navy warship. HMS is set in a fictional world based on the Carribean with the main objective being to rise in rank to Admiral of the Fleet. Players will have to manage their ship and crew by following orders from the Admiralty. Keeping the crew on their toes and happy will be one of the main tasks while tackling hostile forces such as the Portuguese and pirates on the high seas....

The ways people express their love for the Pokémon franchise is diverse to say the least, but one fan has still managed to stick out through their own creative homage to the franchise. Known as MikavdCrochet, they have a talent for creating crochet patterns which can be used to create inventive and strikingly detailed Pokémon plushies and figures. Their most recent pattern is for the new Paradox Pokemon Sandy Shocks, and they gave an extra level of detail to the creation by placing magnets underneath the crochet work....

TSM added to their powerhouse Apex Legends team by picking up Tanner “TannerSlays” Roach, a rising Twitch streamer who has been grinding Apex almost exclusively since its February launch. Ivory Tower’s The Crew has reached five million players 16 months after the game launched, Ubisoft has announced. It’s not clear how many units have been sold. “On December 2nd 2014 we embarked on a new journey, and 16 months later 5 million players have joined us!” reads a post on the game’s blog. “Our vision for the game has always been to create a long-lasting adventure, and today we’d like to celebrate this amazing milestone with the community!...

The Division’s next update will make a major change to the way players go about extracting loot from the Dark Zone, introducing the option for rival players to cut down the extraction rope and steal the items for themselves. The change will mean that the items’ owner will need to keep an even closer eye on their loot than they already do and, Ubisoft says, should make extractions “even more intense than they were before”....

The Surge 2 will soon be in the hands of gamers across the world, as the developers have revealed that it has gone gold and production of the physical version of the game has begun. The Surge 2 is an action RPG that shares a lot of similarities with FromSoftware’s Souls series, with the main difference being that it uses a science-fiction setting. It is the sequel to The Surge, which was released back in 2017 to above average review scores....

Focus Interactive has posted a new developer-commentated video of gameplay from upcoming action RPG The Surge 2. Taking the robotic mech-smashing action to the new game’s setting of Jericho City, the footage is narrated by head of game design Adam Hetenyi and shows off some of the new features of the sequel, including the improved drone and directional parrying, rounded off by a fight against one of the game’s many bosses....

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is, of course, a classic. The live-action/animation hybrid began life as a (much darker) novel by Gary K. Wolf, Who Censored Roger Rabbit, and had a long journey to the screen (they snapped up the rights shortly after the novel was published) before director Robert Zemeckis ultimately struck box-office gold. Popular Stealth adventure Styx: Master of Shadows is getting a sequel built on Unreal Engine 4 and set for release in 2016, Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studios have announced. Styx: Shards of Darkness comes with the promise of a bigger budget and bigger ideas, delving deeper into a more complex narrative and fully realized world.
