Update: Nintendo has released the first direct feed gameplay of Super Mario Run. Original report: Super Mario Run, a auto-running platformer which can be played with one hand, will launch for iPad and iPhone this December, Nintendo’s chief development chief Shigeru Miyamoto announced this evening during Apple’s iPhone 7 reveal. Miyamoto has worked on the game with mobile creators DeNA. “In this game, you constantly move forward through the courses while using a variety of jumps to navigate,” reads the game’s blurb....

Today the prolific indie developer Team Ladybug released a brand new 2D Side Scrolling Shooting Game titled Drainus. The game is available on PC via Steam with a 10% launch sale and it looks really great. You may be familiar with Team Ladybug’s work via beloved Metroidvania games like Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth or Touhou Luna Nights, and from the initial impressions, it appears that we may have another hit here....

Diablo 2: Resurrected has launched a public test realm for the upcoming 2.5 patch that boasts an all-new “experimental” feature: Terror Zones. As well as a “variety of bug fixes to address feedback the community has provided” Blizzard, Terror Zones see you take up monsters at least two levels higher than you (or their original level) for extra XP and loot in the hope we’ll stop “repeatedly farming” Baal, Diablo, or Nihlathak....

Nintendo has announced that the third Tetris Grand Prix event is underway in online Battle Royale game Tetris 99. From now until May 20, players can launch the game and play rounds of Tetris 99 and recieve points depending on the position they manage to reach. This time however, earning 100 points will nab you a theme to skin your edition of Tetris 99 like the classic Game Boy version....

The 100 Season 5 premiered this week, giving us a chance to catch back up with our favorite characters after a massive, six-year time jump. Den of Geek was part of a group of reporters who were lucky enough to visit The 100‘s Vancouver set back in November. We talked to Lindsey Morgan (Raven) about how her character has changed between Seasons 4 and 5. “As you saw from last season, Raven was basically just completely deteriorated by the ALIE code in her brain and extracting it and what she had to go through, basically killing herself and bringing herself literally back to life without it,” recapped Morgan....

After a long and seemingly difficult development period, Hunt: Showdown has finally made it out of early access. It has gone through several changes throughout the course of its production and even began life as a spiritual successor to the Darksiders series.
