Netflix has announced that the latest live-action video game adaptation, Resident Evil the series, will premiere globally on July 14 this year. The show is based on the popular survival-horror franchise from Capcom, and will contain “the best of the Resident Evil DNA,” according to a news release from Netflix. The series was first announced in August 2020, and was rumored even earlier than that. It is being produced by Constantin Film, the same studio that made the original Resident Evil movies with Milla Jovovich....

Q-Games has announced a number of new islands coming to the new version of The Tomorrow Children, set for release later this year. As revealed back in November, the Japanese studio re-acquired the rights from Sony for the sandbox game late in 2021. Data miner X-Kira has apparently spotted a few things that may be of interest to those eagerly anticipating Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (via Shoryuken) including character alternates and an unannounced boss rush mode. A few weeks back X-Kira said around 20 nostalgic stages from Street Fighter 2, Final Fight and Street Fighter 3 would be coming to the Arcade Edition of SFV. Glen Schofield, CEO of PUBG studio Striking Distance, has described its developing PUBG project as a “quad-A” game (via VGC).
