The launch trailer for Sunless Skies, the follow-up to Sunless Sea, has appeared. Within, we get a glimpse at the dark, unforgiving world in which you sail… a steam train? What? Though an RPG in nature, Sunless Skies is all about surviving an uncharted world. Really, it’s a lot like Sunless Sea, but now you sail the open air, haunted by enemies and monsters. Called the High Wilderness, the world Sunless Skies inhabits is a churning, windy dystopia in which the Victorian Empire has slid its fingers....

Adapting any art form into a movie presents a tricky proposition. It is, after all, easy to fall into the trap of being too reverential to the source material. The final Super Smash Bros-focussed Nintendo Direct is to be broadcast at 10pm GMT next Tuesday, December 15, Nintendo has announced. Dontnod Entertainment announced that Tell Me Why will be split into three episodes to be released “just a few weeks apart” from each other. Learning from Life is Strange 2, the developer has chosen to change tack regarding the upcoming narrative game. “Fan feedback was our primary source of motivation,” said game director Florent Guillaume. “We could hear how important it is for fans to be able to enjoy our games without having to wait for long periods of time in between each episode or chapter....

Telltale Games will not be finishing The Walking Dead: The Final Season as originally thought. On September 21st, Telltale games surprised everyone (including their employees) by announcing that they’d be closing up shop. Despite award-winning games that continually reviewed well with a core audience of dedicated Telltale fans, it apparently just didn’t translate into dollars and cents. Worse still, now it appears that previous reports that Telltale would at least be able to finish their flagship The Walking Dead series are actually incorrect....

It’s wild to think that The Crew 2 is entering its sixth season of DLC, but the new tracks, cars, and events are continuing to roll onto the asphalt. The first episode of this new season kicks off on July 6, and more content is planned. I got to take an early peak at the first few new events and the cars that come with it. ‘Dominion Forsberg’ is the name of this latest episode of content coming to The Crew 2....

The Division’s Year 2 content will be given to players for free, and will comprise of two expansion packs, Massive Entertainment creative director Julian Gerighty has told the Ubisoft blog. Expansion 1: Will be based on an event system that drives players to activities that feature modifiers, leaderboards, and unique vanity items that will only be available through these activities. The team also plans to include a loadout feature that will let players switch between their favourite gear combinations, as well as a system to mark a player’s feats....
