They’ve been streaming non-stop since the private beta and casually stated that certain bugs would be fixed in the open beta. The Elder Scrolls: Blades has introduced big changes in its latest patch, including a brand new PvP mode and a huge loot overhaul. Blades released earlier this year, and although it wasn’t exactly a big splash among critics, it was still a huge commercial success for Bethesda, making $1.5 million in its first month on mobile stores. That’s a lot of cash and is the main reason why all these big-name developers are looking to get into mobile gaming....

Last month, The King of Fighters XV finally dropped after a long wait, and it has earned a fairly positive reception for the most part. Although it doesn’t look as crisp as the unreasonably beautiful King of Fighters XIII, it still looks quite a bit better than The King of Fighters XIV, and the fighting mechanics seem to remain as solid as ever. But of course, players have quite a bit more to look forward to than just the initial batch of content at launch....

SNK Corp is gearing up to open the doors for its beta test for upcoming fighter The King of Fighters XV on PlayStation consoles from this evening. The beta starts very early for those of us in the UK, kicking off at 3am UK time tonight. It’ll run through until November 22 at around 3pm in the afternoon UK time. The beta will be playable on both the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 4, and cross-play will be supported....

Today Nihon Falcom released two new trailers of the upcoming PS5 version of its Trails JRPG The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki. The first trailer focuses on showcasing quite a few characters from the series that appear in the game, while the second shows off battle mechanics. You can check both out below. The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki is going to release on PS5 and Steam on July 28, 2022, in Japan and Asia....

During last night’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will arrive on Nintendo Switch this summer. Those who were disappointed with this news should not worry, because according to two sources, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will also arrive on the hybrid console of the Big N in the course of 2021. The news could be founded, as it would follow in the footsteps traced by the Super Mario collection released on the occasion of its 35th anniversary....

TT Games is beavering way on The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame for PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced. Based on the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures flick The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, the video game sequel sees Bricksburg left in ruins in wake of alien invaders, with Emmet and Lucky teaming up with a group of ‘heroic characters’ as they travel to save their buddies from the wrath of the Systar System’s ‘strange inhabitants....

A new Humble Mobile Bundle has launched, this time focussed on RPGs, and there’s some pretty good ones available for very little money. Pay $1 or more to unlock Symphony of Eternity, Doom & Destiny, and Evoland. Pay more than the average price to access Wayward Souls, Shadowrun Returns, and Adventure Bar Story. Pay $6 or more (a no brainer given the average is already at $5.78) and you’ll also get Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Shadowrun: Dragonfall – Director’s Cut....

The Pokémon Company and Tencent revealed Pokémon Unite in a livestream yesterday, and the upcoming strategy title is dividing opinion. It’s a free-to-start game which is on its way to Switch and mobile devices, and it will have crossplay. The MOBA-like gameplay will pit two teams of five players at either end of a map. The players, playing as a Pokémon, will begin at level 1 and gain experience and levels by catching new Pokémon and battling the opposing players....

Valve’s mobile PC gaming platform, the Steam Deck, finally has a release date. Announced in a post on Steam’s forums, the console will finally be making its way out to gamers on February 25.
