The Jak-12 is the latest weapon to arrive in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. Fans of Modern Warfare 2 will recognize this shotgun, previously known as the AA-12. The Jak-12 is the same, however, with the various possibilities in the gunsmith to make it more powerful. Back in my review of The Dragon Prince season 1 I said the series had a lot of potential. “A rich world, captivating characters, a beautiful score, and a central conflict that can drive seasons worth of stories.” Now, having finished the third season of the series, I can confidently state that no other show has lived up to the promise inherent in its first few episodes more. The Dragon Prince season 3 is firing on all cylinders....

The Epic Games Store’s Black Friday sale event is now live. If you’ve had an eye on some of the exclusives available on the platform, now might be a good time to go take a look. The sale might seem a bit premature, but it also makes sense. Epic’s biggest sales competitor, Steam, typically begins its own sale on the Wednesday before Black Friday. Starting early, then, is a smart move for Epic, at least in the business sense....

I keep searching in vain for the holy grail of fishing video games. One that simulates the feeling of being on the open water, casting out my line, and basking in the glory of nature without ever having to leave my living room. While The Fisherman: Fishing Planet provides an entire world for anglers to explore, it sadly doesn’t give us a compelling reason to stay on this fish-filled planet for very long....

This The Good Place review contains spoilers. The Good Place Season 3 Episode 6 “A Fractured Inheritance” puts itself in a position where it’s nearly impossible to fail. The factors in its favor are numerous. The episode breaks the Soul Squad up into the two most natural and comedically strong groups: Eleanor and Michael, and then everyone else. It has an enormous wealth of Arizona white trash in Nevada jokes to lean on....

The free-to-play mobile brawler The King of Fighters ALLSTAR will finally see a global release on October 22 for Android and iOS. Developer Netmarble has announced that anyone who’s itching to play the game can pre-register now, either on Netmarble’s official website and or in the Google Play store. Presumably, pre-registration will eventually be available on the iOS App Store as well, but there’s no official word on that. The game, based on the popular SNK fighting franchise, has you collecting a team from the over 200+ character roster made up of the franchise’s fighters from King of Fighters ‘94 through King of Fighters XIV....

It’s that time of the year when big leaks start popping up all over the internet. The first of many is an exciting one for PC gamers. On the official PlayStation website, a trailer was released early announcing The Last of Us Part 1, an upcoming remake. Even better is that this The Last of Us remake is coming to PC. The trailer mostly just shows off some iconic parts of the original game released back in 2013....

Indie developer Edmund McMillen has done the impossible: he managed to follow-up his gigantic hit (Super Meat Boy) with an even bigger game. Hot on the heels of his hotly anticipated platformer, McMillen put out The Binding of Isaac in 2011 and the title has practically come to define his career. Drawing heavily from self-reflection and personal themes, Isaac went on to shake-up the cult roguelike genre while simultaneously birthing a brand that cemented McMillen as one of the biggest developers of our time....

This The Magicians interview contains spoilers. We were all very sad when we found out that The Magicians season 5 would be the series’ final run, but as finales go, this one was pretty spectacular. However, some of the time travel shenanigans and other surprise twists might warrant a rewatch to understand fully how the story ended and what elements were left open for speculation. Almost six years ago, Bethesda released one the greatest games of the seventh generation, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The game was an instant hit, being lauded as one of the best open world RPGs of all time. Gamers have fond memories of Skyrim due to the various events and occurrences that can happen during their exploration of the vast world. Shops and houses hewn from a hodgepodge of discarded industrial scrap, made warm with smatterings of personal effects....

Witchers. Mutated handymen who’ve been genetically engineered to fight against creatures that go bump in the night. They’re absurdly crafty, exceedingly strong, and characteristically attractive. And the one that hogs center stage is one Geralt of Rivia. This snowy-haired, cat-eyed playboy is the main character for all three of CDProjectRed’s game adaptations. Now the games follow their own plot, for the most part, so the end of Witcher 2 left us on the edge of our seats....

UPDATE 29/11/22: We’re still a few hours away from today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast with the second official trailer for the Super Mario Bros. movie (that’s at 2pm Pacific, so 10pm UK time today). Regardless, new artwork for the film has popped up online and is being shared around social media - including a first look at Mayor Pauline, last seen in Super Mario Odyssey, and a height chart for the film’s main stars....

The Super Mario Galaxy franchise is one of the most successful and popular from the Mario world. Taking place, in the galaxy (shocker), the two video games were heavily praised for the visual effects and detailed worlds. Super Mario Galaxy scored an incredible 97 on Metacritic, while its sequel received the same. Bringing the vibrancy and fun that is expected from a Mario video game, this series offered something totally unique that hadn’t been done before....

A recent dive into the files of the original Super Mario Strikers has revealed a rather unusual set of unused characters, including a team of “generic Mario style humans”. Twitter user Dogon McBanana decided to go rootling about in the files of Nintendo’s GameCube title. What they found was a host of unused, slightly unnerving (see the T-posing, scarecrow like horror below), character models. “It seems like at some point each captain was going to have their own unique team of sidekicks,” wrote McBanana....

One dedicated fan has decided to pay tribute to the golden age of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games) by creating a brand new arcade-like TMNT title called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rescue-Palooza! While plots have rarely played a big role in TMNT games of the past, the story of Rescue-Palooza is actually integral to the appeal of this project. See, it seems that Shredder has decided to re-ignite his rivalry with the turtles by kidnapping all of their friends over the years....
