Universal Studios Japan and Nintendo have announced that the Super Nintendo World theme park will finally open to the public next week, after it was forced to postpone the original planned February opening due the city of Osaka delcaring a State of Emergency in reponse to the global COVID-19 pandemic. As you’d no doubt expect, the press release reassures visitors that stringent hygiene procedures will be in place for the opening, including “guidance from health adminstrations and medical professionals in light of the siatuation in Japan and overseas....

Developer Fullbright’s next game, Tacoma, is out August 2. The Windows and Xbox One title was originally announced back in December 2014 during The Game Awards, so it’s good to see we finally have a release date. Check out the brief trailer below for a look at the game.

Today Square Enix released a new trailer for its upcoming Tactics Ogre remake Tactics Ogre remaster Tactics Ogre Reborn. The trailer focuses on the game’s masterful storytelling by Yasumi Matsuno, which should not surprise considering that the original Tactics Ogre is considered by many the predecessor of Final Fantasy Tactics. This, of course, includes the voiced cutscenes, which is one of the big improvements included in the remaster. Crema Games recently announced its tentative roadmaps for Temtem’s future, and the details not only mentioned the game’s full-release window for home consoles but two new features that Crema hopes to implement into it at that time: cross-play and cross-save. InXile Entertainment has announced that the Directors Cut of its 2018 RPG The Bard’s Tale IV will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC at the end of next month. The Director’s Cut was announced back in Feburary and promises an entire new chapter of the game, more character creation options, additional difficulty settings, massive updates to the game’s engine, as well as including all the DLC. Bethesda has announced that it will be bringing an improved version of The Elder Scrolls Online to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in June in the form of a free ‘Console Enhanced’ upgrade for all existing and new players. Valve has made the Half-Life series and its expansions free-to-play until Half-Life: Alyx launches in March (via VGC). Half-Life was released in 1998, followed by expansions Opposing Force and Blue Shift in 1999 and 2001. Half-Life 2 came out in 2004, and now, the new Half-Life: Alyx brings the classic series into virtual reality. To get everyone up to speed for the next chapter, the games are now free to play until March, which is when Half-Life: Alyx is expected to release....

The Last of Us Part 2 leaks are apparently the work of hackers and were not sourced from within Naughty Dog (via VG247). Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier alleges that he has spoken with “two people with direct knowledge of how TLOU2 leaked as well as some Naughty Dog employees” about the situation. Last week, the leaks were plastered all over the internet, spoiling the game’s story and gameplay moments. The original leak was uploaded to YouTube, and though Sony removed the video, it had already been downloaded and shared through other channels....

One of the more interesting storylines from last season surrounded Trade Minister Tagomi (Cary-Hiroyuke Tagawa) and his discovery of the ability to cross between worlds and visit with a daughter-in-law version of Juliana Crain (Alexa Davalos), but there was little connection between his story and what was going on back in his own version of history. This season of The Man In The High Castle does an admirable job of jumping into the idea of alternate realities almost immediately....
