Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe - the remake of the remake of everybody’s favourite comedic rumination on video game agency - finally has a release date and will, after a number of not-insignificant delays, be heading to PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC on 27th April. Popular speedrunner Cheese has beat his world record Super Mario 64 speedrun with a legendary time of 1h 38m 51s. As speedrunning grows in popularity, more and more players continue competing to shave seconds off of their times. A quick look at the Super Mario 64 Speedrun page on speedrun.net shows that 274 runners have recorded a time for the game, and the times very wildly from 1 hour all of the way up to 16....
When I saw that Super Robot Wars 30 was out on Steam, I had to blink twice before it registered. Somehow, the game releasing totally got by me. Make no mistake, though, its release is a huge deal. No mainline game in the series has ever come out in the West before. A few of the Super Robot Taisen games made it over, but those were 100% original characters and mecha, which means they were missing a notable amount of the appeal the main series is known for....

Hours of operation have once again been extended for NBC‘s big box store comedy Superstore. According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC has ordered another season of Superstore bringing its total run thus far up to six seasons. Superstore is the latest NBC show to receive a renewal, joining the likes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and dramas This is Us and New Amsterdam, both of which received three-season orders. “We’re thrilled that Superstore continues to speak to many important and topical issues while simultaneously being hilarious,” Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta, co-presidents scripted programming at NBC, said in a statement....
OtherSide Entertainment and Tencent Holdings will work together to develop System Shock 3 (via VGC). After the future of the project appeared to be ambiguous, it was announced that Tencent Holdings had swooped in to save the day. “We are happy to announce that Tencent will be taking the System Shock franchise forward,” said vice president of marketing and business development Walter Somol. “As a smaller indie studio, it had been challenging for us to carry the project on our own....
The System Shock reboot is still in development at Nightdive and they have just released an update video for January. This video talks to art director Kevin Manning and other members of the art team to find out how they approach creating the art for this highly anticipated reboot. There is still no word on when the game is likely to appear but at least this update shows more of the what’s going on behind the scenes....
It seems fairly certain now that Tenet will be released in theaters at the end of the summer. Warner Bros. confirmed as much Monday when the studio announced Christopher Nolan’s latest epic is set to open in 70 countries, including the UK, on Aug. 26. It will then make the jump stateside to vaguely determined “select U.S. cities” on Sept. 3, just in time for Labor Day weekend. While plans can change—they have before—there is almost a weary resignation about this announcement....

Armor Games decided to reveal the official release window of indie developer Massive Monster’s action-platformer The Adventure Pals, which will be in Spring 2018. The game will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The Adventure Pals will contain 105 different levels and it will be filled with a ton of different wacky situations for players to get drawn into.
