The Last of Us Part II has officially been delayed from February to May of 2020. The game’s director stated this was due to a desire for “Naughty Dog quality.” While many are likely upset over the delay, it could signal a bigger and better release for Playstation 5. Right now, there’s no confirmed PlayStation 5 iteration of The Last of Us Part II. However, given that PS4 got a version of the first The Last of Us, it’s very likely the PS5 will get its own version of the sequel....

It seems that New Line Cinema is going ahead with a sequel to last year’s Mortal Kombat movie. Deadline broke the news, revealing that the follow-up will be written by Jeremy Slater. Slater is the head writer for upcoming Disney+ series Moon Knight with reported future Solid Snake Oscar Issac. There’s no word yet on when we can expect the new film, but it’s a pleasant surprise nonetheless. As Deadline notes, the first movie seemed to do rather well for studio Warner Bros....

23 years on from its original release, Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition revives one of the true gems of the PS1 era with upgraded visuals and a handful of extras. It’s out on last-gen PS4 and Xbox One machines, plus Switch and PC, with back-compat allowing the game to run on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S as well. Regardless of platform though, it’s a pleasure to see one of Squaresoft’s great JRPGs remastered, but it’s certainly not a perfect package....

Midway through a Sundance screening of Jennifer Kent’s The Nightingale, the film had to be paused. Moments ago on the screen, one character had taken a furious vengeance on another. Flesh was pierced, bones were shattered, and the sounds of a life audibly, and brutally, going out were heard.
