The DioField Chronicle is a new tactics game coming to PS4 and PS5 later this year, as well as PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. It was announced at PlayStation State of Play back in March. Beyond that, we haven’t really heard all that much about it, so it was a pleasant surprise to see the tactics game pop up on the ESRB website (thanks, Gematsu), not least because it included a summary of the game, as well as details as to why the board classified it as a “Teen” game due to its blood, “mild suggestive themes”, and violence....

The Gaming Industry Is Failing Next Generation Esports Players

Last week news broke that FaZe clan member Jarvis has been handed a lifelong Fortnite ban. The heavy-handed punishment is a result of Jarvis using banned aimbot software during non-competitive gameplay, which he uploaded to YouTube. The rumors are that he was also using other hacks in both Creative Mode and Solos, for the purpose of creating video content to entertain his fans. While the ban seems harsh, especially when a player caught cheating during the Fortnite World Cup qualifier was later allowed to try again, the real question that needs to be asked is why is an eSports pro using cheats in the first place?...

The Order 1886 Really Is Just 5 5 Hours Long

I’ve been working my way through The Order: 1886 this week, and yes, as that early playthrough suggested, it really is just 5 and a half hours long. Playing on the default ‘Medium’ difficulty, my final playtime came in at 5 hours and 37 minutes. And to be clear, this wasn’t a speed run. I approached my initial playthrough exactly as I would with any other game, taking the time to scour each level for collectibles, dying a handful of times, and even stopping to take some screenshots....

The Outer Worlds How To Find The Mandibular Rearranger

Gamers looking to fill the Fallout sized hole in their hearts will likely enjoy exploring The Outer Worlds, Obsidian Entertainment’s latest sci-fi RPG. While it has a great deal in common with the company’s previous work, The Outer World manages to separate itself with refreshing takes on age-old genre conventions and a style and tone entirely its own. One of the welcome examples of Obsidian’s trademark humor in The Outer Worlds is the introduction of science weapons that, although lacking in damage output, are extremely fun to use and produce quirky effects on their victims....

The Prequel To A Classic Thriller Franchise Is Already Hulu S Most Viewed Movie Ever

Released just last week, Dan Trachtenberg’s Prey is already making waves all over mainstream media. The Predator franchise has been languishing for years, but with Prey serving as a prequel and a reboot of sorts for the series, we may be seeing a comeback. Notably, Hulu has confirmed via Variety that Prey is officially the most watched movie ever on its streaming platform, “among all TV series and movies.” Within its first three days, the movie had racked up the most viewing hours ever on the platform, which is honestly pretty impressive and surprising, when you consider the fact that Predator really hasn’t been relevant in a very long time....

This The Simpsons review contains spoilers. The Simpsons Season 31 Episode 6 The Simpsons, season 31, episode 6, “Marge the Lumberjill,” doesn’t quite cut it. And it should. The promises of the premises are left at the door mat before there are any indents on the couch. When The Simpsons softened their animation they cut the edges off their most effective humor....
