There comes a time in every year where the latest Call of Duty comes under fire or critique, but without fail, each and every year a new installment releases to new records for the series and top of the charts sales numbers. This year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is no exception; in fact, Activision has recently announced that Modern Warfare is the most played entry in the franchise to release this generation, despite some issues with balance, spawns, and Spec Ops....

When The Collisto Protocol was unveiled late 2020, one of the more, let’s say, baffling details was that the survival horror game was based in the world of PUBG. The game, by former Dead Space creator Glen Schofield, clearly bore little similarity to the high-octane battle royale. Instead, it appeared to ape Schofield’s famous horror series. And yet, somehow it was all still tied to PUBG. But no longer. According to Schofield, The Callisto Protocol is now “its own story and world,” and it no longer has ties to the PUBG universe....

Today the developers at Striking Distance Studios revealed a brand new trailer of the upcoming survival horror game The Callisto Protocol. This time around, the trailer focuses on the story, and more specifically on revealing a glimpse of the secrets hidden behind the Black Iron prison. We also take the first semi-extensive look at Danny Nakamura, the character played by Karen Fukuhara. She’s a leader of the resistance who plays an important role in the story of The Callisto Protocol....

It’s all systems go for Sonic the Hedgehog, now that the blue blur’s design has been improved upon, and info on the merch that will accompany the movie has been released. If you had told us in 1993 that 2019 would be one of Sonic’s biggest years to date, chances are we would not have believed you. Atlas Fallen is a new fantasy action RPG from The Surge developer Deck 13, set for release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2023. We got a first look at Atlas Fallen tonight during Gamescom Opening Night Live, via a flashy CGI trailer which shows off its sand-covered semi-open world and superpowered beasties. F-Zero is a fantastic series of high-speed racing video games that deserve a lot more respect and at least a sequel for Nintendo Switch. The brand name is mostly kept alive single-handedly by Captain Falcon through Super Smash Bros. but the available entries have a cult classic quality to them, being enjoyed by a small group of dedicated fans. With the franchise being in the lower tier of Nintendo’s intellectual properties, its rich lore remains unknown to the majority of gamers....

Robert Conrad, best known for his roles in the television series Hawaiian Eye, The Wild Wild West and Baa Baa Black Sheep, died of heart failure in Malibu, Calif., on Feb. 8, according to Variety. He was 84. “He lived a wonderfully long life and while the family is saddened by his passing, he will live forever in their hearts,” family spokesperson Jeff Ballard said in a statement. The family will hold a small private service on March 1, which would have been Conrad’s 85th birthday....

Sega shocked everyone when it announced Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD would be releasing this year. Once a popular cash cow for the company, Super Monkey Ball sort of fell out of style after the Vita release in 2012. Not all Final Smash attacks are created equal. Some are overpowered, some are incredibly bad, and many run the middle ground. Supergirl Season 5 Episode 17 Supergirl returns from its extended spring hiatus with the Lex Luthor-centric episode that none of us really asked for. “Deus Lex Machina” is an hour that re-centers the series’ universe post-Crisis on Infinite Earths, placing Jon Cryer’s supervillain at the epicenter of virtually everything that’s going on. European esports organization Team Secret has officially stepped into competitive League of Legends with the signing of a Vietnamese roster. The team previously represented Lowkey Esports, making a run to the 2019 World Championship under their banner. The roster will now compete as Team Secret for the remainder of the Vietnam Championship Series (VCS) Spring season, where they currently stand in fourth place. Team Secret’s newly acquired roster gained recognition in 2019 while playing for Friends Forever QTV Gaming and later Lowkey Esports in the VCS....
