My wife and I absolutely enjoy narrative-driven horror games. Ever since Until Dawn (2015), we’ve looked forward to what developer Supermassive Games has to offer. That brings us to House of Ashes, the latest installment in The Dark Pictures Anthology. House of Ashes has a lot going for it. Learning from the lessons of previous titles, Supermassive Games hopes to provide a thrilling experience from start to finish. It does succeed in many ways....

The first game of Supermassive Games’ The Dark Pictures Anthology, was released last year with Man of Medan. The title was a success, selling over 1 million copies, although some have encountered problems. Now the series continues with the second part, Little Hope. As expected, this time we follow a story with a different setting and type of horror in The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope. A Tweet from Nintendo of Europe has revealed a new feature in the upcoming Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake for the Nintendo Switch: the ability to add Shadow Link, an evil doppleganger of the Hero of Hyrule, to dungeons created with the game’s new Chamber Dungeon feature. Shadow Link (who is a different character than Dark Link, for reasons likely only the Zelda lore experts out there understand) is only addable to dungeons via the new Link’s Awakening amiibo, a hyper cartoony version of Link featured in the remake....

Earlier today, publisher Nacon hosted its Nacon Connect 2021 livestream event, keen to show off some new and in-development games. While I was hoping to see an actual gameplay trailer for the upcoming The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, its developer brought only a few more details while teasing locations and characters. The developer did at least pin down a release window for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which is coming to PC in fall of 2022....

After a wait that went spanned months and then a couple of years, the next-gen update for The Witcher 3 finally has a release date. As announced on the website for The Witcher games, the update will release on December 14 and will be free for all players who already own the game. For those that don’t own The Witcher 3, a Complete Edition will be available which will feature every DLC and all enhancements....

If you want this skin in Doom Eternal, you’re going to have to look at a lot of stuff on the game’s website. Doom Eternal arrives next March. What makes the sword so great is the fact that every hit you land with it generates a bit of charge that increases the weapon’s damage by ten percent (although you lose charges overtime or when Geralt takes damage). When Capcom announced Street Fighter V: Champion Edition last month, it showcased one new character coming to the roster. The long-awaited return of Street Fighter III’s Gill was exciting, but players noted that the total roster was listed as having 40 characters. Gill only marked the 39th, so speculation began as to who would be the last addition. As it turns out, Seth (famous as the cheap-ass boss from Street Fighter IV) is what Capcom had in store....

Street Fighter V is getting a slew of fresh clobber that lets you give Ken, Ed, and Laura a Devil May Cry makeover, Capcom has revealed. First up, Ken will be able to strap on the iconic red leather coat of wise-cracking, demon-slaying hero Dante, complete with Rebellion sword strapped to his back. The outfit is based on Dante’s appearance from 2008’s Devil May Cry 4. If Nero is more your thing, then Ed can kit himself out in an outfit that resembles Devil May Cry 4’s silver-haired protagonist....
