The Simpsons: Season 30 Episode 3 The good, and yet bad, news is we won’t be going to hell for watching The Simpsons season 30 episode 3, “My Way or the Highway to Heaven.” It has bite, but not that communion wafer aftertaste. The episode opens as God and St. Peter, who we know because he wears a sash, bemoan diminishing attendance in heaven. It seems there’s nobody getting in anymore except little old ladies, promise keepers, who creep out even God a little, and Tracy Morgan, who wasn’t informed he got better after almost dying in the tour bus accident....

Tim Willits, former co-founder and current Studio Director at Doom, Quake and Rage developer id Software has announced that he’s stepping down from his position after this year’s Quakecon. Making the announcement on Twitter, the 24 year veteran of the company said ‘I’ve been extremely lucky to work with the best people in the industry on truly amazing games. Nintendo has announced during today’s Direct broadcast that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is adding Simon Belmont to its already-massive roster. The Castlevania hero enters the melee with a bunch of his signature moves, and will be joined by Richter, making them Echo Fighters. What’s more, they’ll come with a Dracula’s Castle stage – including an appearance from the Count himself, so watch out – and an Alucard Assist Trophy. Super Smash Bros....

Super Smash Con, a keystone of the Super Smash Bros. community that features tournament play of every single Smash game within a fully Nintendo-centric convention environment, has announced that tournament participant Osiris197 will no longer be allowed to attend the event in response to a multitude of accounts of past violent behavior and verbal harassment. Most recently, a fistfight between Osiris and another player at this past June’s Community Effort Orlando fighting game tournament has served as a catalyst for posts about Osiris’ past behavior to surface on Twitter....

With the DOTA 2’s The International 2019 only a few days away, players are no longer being banned from the official Twitch Stream for typing phrases into the official Twitch stream chat about Winnie the Pooh and Tienanmen Square. The change seems to be made unofficially, as players are now reporting that they can enter the phrases without a risk of a ban. Valve has not provided a reason for why the ban was occurring in the first place or why the decision appears to have been reversed....

That’s No Moon Entertainment is a new studio, formed by veterans of Naughty Dog, Bungie, and many more. The studio will make “AAA independent” games, with more than $100 million in investment from Smilegate—the company behind Crossfire. According to a press release, “Its debut project will be an ambitious, new action-adventure game.” Moreover, this debut game will, apparently, “push the limits of both gameplay and story.” Its creative director is Taylor Kurosaki, who previously worked at Infinity Ward and Naughty Dog....

Rocksteady is aiming to deliver a batsuit based on Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy to Batman: Arkham Knight by the end of the year, game director Sefton Hill has revealed.
