The System Shock remake from Nightdive Studios is starting to gather steam again after the company decided to reassess the project earlier in the year. The Kickstarter-backed revamp of 1994’s acclaimed adventure game is rapidly approaching Adventure Alpha, a development goal that Nightdive has pinned down for September. Paramount+ is getting ready to share a fresh look at its upcoming TV show based upon Microsoft’s fan-favourite shooter, Halo. The state of portable gaming is a bit complex, as devices like the various ones running iOS and Android are sustaining a multi-billion dollar corner of the market. Today’s issue of Weekly Famitsu included a sizable spread on the upcoming JRPG by Nihon Falcom The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II – Crimson Sin. Do keep in mind that some of the information and images here may be considered spoilers since most of us haven’t yet played the original Kuro no Kiseki. To celebrate the five-year anniversary of The Long Dark‘s launch, developer Hinterland announced the next chapter of the game’s story. The Long Dark Episode Three: Crossroads Elegy will be available via Steam next month. Like the other chapters, it will come to game owners at no additional cost. Bloober Team is ramping up to the release of horror title The Medium with another new video giving fans a peek behind the curtain of creating the game and offering up nine uncanny facts about its development. Interesting titbits include the fact the game was originally scheduled for release on the Wii U Xbox 360 and PS3, having originally been in development since all the way back in 2013.
