Nintendo has announced that Super Smash Bros. for Switch will be playable on the show floor at E3 in June. Those of you lucky enough to attend the event (remember, it’s open to the public as well as press nowadays) can be among the first players in the world to go hands-on with the highly anticipated beat-’em-up. Super Smash Bros. will be strutting its stuff at Ninty’s booth from June 12-14, although be prepared to be standing around in a massive queue before actually getting in on the action....

Bandai Namco Games has announced that Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will launch in the US and UK on January 11, 2019. The Definitive Edition features a host of improvements over the original version of the fantasy-RPG, including spruced up visuals, new characters, an expanded story, extra costumes, new music tracks, and heaps more. In addition, Bamco is releasing a Special Edition of the game, although there’s no word yet on what will be included in the pack (though it does appear to feature a swanky steelbook case with Repede on the front)....

Bandai Namco Games has announced that Final Fantasy XV hero Noctis Lucis Caelum will be getting into a punch-up in Tekken 7 on March 20. The sword-wielding scrapper is the third slice of downloadable content for the game after Tekken Bowl and Geese Howard, and will come packaged with his own stage based off of Final Fantasy XV’s Hammerhead service station. In addition, the floppy-haired hero will boast variety of different outfits, including his casual garb, Royal Raiment, Choco-Mog Style, Fighting King’s Raiment, and Kingly Raiment....

Ubisoft had planned to get The Crew 2 released in March but it’s now delayed. Due to the “ambitious” nature of the sequel, the Ubisoft team feel it would benefit from more development time and released a statement with a very vague release date window. In order to truly stand by our promise, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release date to between april/september 2018. Xaviant has announced that The Culling will shut its doors in May, with the game’s transition to a free-to-play model having failed to turn things around for the troubled scavenge-’em-up. Josh Van Veld, director of operations at Xaviant, explained the move in a post on The Culling’s website. ‘When we launched the Origins update and made the game free to play, our hope was that the revenue generated from in-app purchases would be enough to sustain our team and support ongoing development,’ he said....
