Space combat in Star Wars: The Old Republic doesn’t look like it will be as free flowing as the X-Wing series of games, meaning you likely won’t have full control of your ship. Instead, the combat is said to be more like a ‘Tunnel Shooter’, similar to 1993 game Rebel Assault. At least, those are the facts according to the August Issue of German magazine PC Action. One user described a a modern ’tunnel shooter’ would be Kingdom Hearts’ Gummi spaceship combat....

Bandai Namco, the makers of so many anime games, has revealed the next DLC for Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. Called The Lair of the Lost Lord, this second content pack offers more than a simple handful of extra challenges. Maxis Studios has recently announced a new update featuring a sexual orientation option in Create a Sim. As a player, you’ll be able to decide your Sims attraction to specific genders, romance preferences, and interests in Woohoo. With this sexual orientation component, your Sims will automatically reject those who don’t meet their attraction preferences, except for characters who like both men and women. In addition, Maxis Studios hopes to include more gender identities in the future to expand gameplay further....

As the final game packs and stuff packs are getting added to The Sims 4, the obvious question lingers on everyone’s lips: when will we see The Sims 5? With so much speculation going around and fans desperately hoping for a new game that would completely overhaul things and bring back much-loved features like open-world and cars, it’s difficult to contain our excitement. Martha is Dead, the upcoming first-person psychological WW2 thriller from The Town of Light developer LKA, will require certain elements to be altered ahead of its release on PlayStation 4 and PS5, publisher Wired Productions has revealed. The PC and Xbox versions remain unaffected, however, and will release unedited at launch on 24th February. Martha is Dead unfolds in Tuscany, 1944, against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict between German and Allied forces; as its story begins, the body of a woman, Martha, is discovered by the side of a lake deep in the Italian countryside, and players - in the role of her twin sister - must deal with the repercussions of the murder, “all whilst the horror of war draws ever closer”....

It’s no secret that light machine guns are strong in Call of Duty: Warzone. Ever since the Bruen meta, most players are aware of the potential lying in Call of Duty‘s heavy hitters. At the end of the annual Capcom Cup, Street Fighter game producer, Yoshinori Ono, took to the stage to deliver some news to the event’s attendees. While teasing the fans with an inanimate toy named Blanka, Kenny “The Cleaner” Omega walked on stage and delivered a devastating superkick straight to Ono’s face. Neon White, the stylish Annapurna-published anime speedrunner, is coming to PlayStation platforms for the first time. PlayStation 4 and PS5 versions of the game will arrive in just over a week, on Tuesday 13th December, following the game’s debut on Nintendo Switch and Steam earlier this year. Neon White tasks you with shooting through levels - both in terms of the guns you fire and the speed in which you traverse....

A Shadow of the Colossus movie is happening. And recently, Kevin Ping Chang, production executive at Misher Films – the people currently developing the Shadow of the Colossus movie for Sony Pictures Entertainment – expressed interest in working on adaptations of Ico and The Last Guardian. Sucker Punch, the development team behind such classic series as Infamous and Sly Cooper, has issued a tweet wishing fans and gamers a happy holiday. The holiday-themed tweet can be seen below. It shows artwork of various characters from different Sucker Punch-developed titles throughout the years. The artwork shows Ghost of Tsushima’s protagonist being welcomed to a party full of Sucker Punch characters. Composed by someone at Sucker Punch, from left to right, the characters pictured are: Fetch and Delsin Rowe from Infamous Second Son, Rocket from Rocket: Robot on Wheels, Sakai from the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima, the titular Sly Cooper from the Sly Cooper franchise, and Cole MacGrath from the first Infamous entry....

Super Kirby Clash is a new cooperative Kirby game that pits teams of four against bosses, and it’s out now, as announced in yesterday’s Nintendo Direct. There are four different but equally cute Kirby classes; Blade Hero, Hammer Lord, Doctor Healmore, and Beam Mage. Taking up one of over 100 quests begins the boss fight, and everyone must know their role in order to walk, or waddle, away victorious. RPG elements come to the fore as the team boost their attacks and abilities by crafting weapons and gaining new armour and items....

Last November Nintendo and Universal Studios jointly announced the world’s first Nintendo themed park. The park is slated to be finished just in time for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics at Universal Studios Japan. Two more parks are planned to open shortly thereafter at Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood. Since then, news on the projects has remained mostly quiet, until last week when Nintendo filed a trademark for Super Nintendo World....

Two years after the grand opening of Super Nintendo World in Osaka, Japan, Universal Studios Hollywood will finally be opening the US counterpart to the video game theme park. While very little has been shown off about this park compared to what was revealed in the leadup to the opening of the Osaka location, the announcement tweet appears to mention a few details that are similar between the two. Universal Studios Japan has announced the grand opening of its eagerly anticipated Super Nintendo World theme park will take place on February 4, 2021. As reported by IGN Japan, the park will feature a recreation of Bowser’s Castle complete with grandiose statue and paintings of the King Koopa himself adorning the walls, as well as the park’s signature rollercoaster: Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge. The twist here is that riders will wear a special Mario hat with a visor that adds AR and projection mapping tech to help you feel like you’re in a Mario Kart race while riding, complete with shells and Mario, Luigi and Peach themselves racing alongside you....

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has acknowledged fan frustration over the lack of updates for Red Dead Online. Speaking with IGN, Zelnick said: “Rockstar Games talks about the updates that are coming, and we’re working on an awful lot at Rockstar Games.
