In the opening to The Hustle, Anne Hathaway introduces us to a fun world in the south of France. All you see are layers of deception, dressed up in glitz and glam. That’s the movie I signed up for. Unfortunately, this gender-swapped remake of a remake hews too close to its predecessors, afraid to bring something new and different to the table. It’s a shame, because most of what’s new and different is funny, and even a bit subversive, like the quack doctor plot or Rebel Wilson’s fake boob scam....

In just a few short months from today, Naughty Dog’s highly-anticipated game, The Last of Us 2, will be releasing exclusively to the PS4, despite suffering from numerous delays. Luckily for Naughty Dog, fans of the action-adventure title were forgiving of the development setbacks, given that many were understanding of the need for more time for the studio to bring the sequel to a level of quality that would hopefully live up and surpass the original game....

Those who own Star Wars: Battlefront II on PC can now play as the Mandalorian, the lead character of the brand new Disney+ show of the same name. Reddit user, Dulana57, posted footage of the new mod earlier this week, and aside from adding the voice of actor, Pedro Pascal, the Mandalorian looks as incredible as if EA designed him itself. Complete with his signature metallic armor, helmet, and cape, the Mandalorian looks identical to the character that can be found within Disney’s new streaming service....

EA has confirmed that development is well under way on the next Battlefield game at DICE and will see the next installment of the long-running shooter franchise aim to launch at the tail end of next year. Dotemu has announced the next new character coming to side-scrolling beat-em-up Streets of Rage 4 as part of its Mr X. Nightmare DLC soon as Streets of Rage 2’s Max Thunder. Announced at MomoCon today, the cult classic Killer7 from Grasshopper Manufacture and SUDA51 will be coming to Steam this autumn. The action adventure was released thirteen years ago in 2005 and was SUDA51’s first game to be released outside of Japan. 2020 is set to become the year of the delay. Earlier this morning, developer Techland announced that it would be delaying the upcoming Dying Light 2 to an unspecified date in 2020. Originally set to launch this spring, the company needs more development time to bring the open-world zombie title to the quality it wants. In a heartfelt message on Twitter, CEO Pawel Marchewka apologized to fans for the delay and stressed that the company is working hard to achieve the results expected of it....
