Today Fatshark released another trailer of the grimdark version of Warhammer Vermintide, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. The trailer focuses on the Psyker: Psykinetic, one of the playable classes in the game, who appears to be very proficient in psychic flames and lightning bolts. What makes the class interesting is certainly the lore behind it, which is pretty much a focal point in the Warhammer 40,000 settings. Psychic powers are seen in the Empire as several steps too close to the power of chaos, which means that Psychers are at the same time reviled and hunted, but also harnessed when they’re useful and can be at least somewhat controlled....

The problem is that there aren’t a great deal of balls-hard third-person action-RPGs in which death is a major setback that makes you drop your experience tokens and money, every enemy is a threat, and exploration is as important as it is dangerous....

There are very big bads as iconic as the King of all Koopas. Bowser has been a thorn in the Mario Bros. side for decades now and he’s even managed to make cameo appearances in other games and films. Nintendo has released a new trailer for upcoming compliation Super Mario 3D All-Stars, showing off the collection’s contents as well as some of the improvements made for the Nintendo Switch release. In addition to three classic 3D Mario games Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy, the collection will also feature a music player, allowing you to play the Original Soundtrack from all three games at your leisure—with over 170 songs to pick from....

Superliminal is an upcoming first-person forced-perspective puzzle game where one enters into a world outside the rules of what we perceive to be reality. The trailer toys with its viewer, making us question everything we may learn about the world inside the game. Developer Pillow Castle has been long at work on their creative title. Prior to being renamed Superliminal, the game was titled Museum of Simulation Technology and appears to have first been teased in 2014....

The chronicles of Telltale Games seems to have no end, despite the company’s collapse last month. On that fateful day of September 21, the majority of Telltale’s staff was suddenly let go with no severance packages and with their healthcare coverage ending come October. Chinese video game company Tencent has invested money into Yager, the independent game developer that created Spec Ops: The Line. The developer was also once working on zombie game Dead Island 2 before it was removed from development by publisher Deep Silver. In an announcement this week, Yager confirmed that Tencent invested in the company, but that it will keep on being independent. It’s unclear how much money Tencent has put into the developer, however, as it is the world’s largest games company, owning Riot Games, a 40% stake in Epic Games, and it has its own streaming service called Tencent Start, it has more than a few million to spend....
