Modders are what helps keep Skyrim fresh and Beyond Skyrim: Three Kingdoms will be the first release from the Iliac Bay: Tower of Dawn project. This new upcoming content release from the Beyond Skyrim modding collective covers the eastern Breton kingdoms of Farrun and Jehanna, as well as the Abecean Isles off the western coast of Hammerfell. There’s some big production value going into this as you will see in the announcement trailer below and the release will come with fully voiced NPCs, new locations, new treasure, equipment, and much more....
Developer CD Projekt RED has confirmed that it is still working on a PlayStation 4 Pro update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, though it’s going to take a bit longer than originally planned. The new update was confirmed a while back and will feature High-Dynamic Range (HDR) support among other features. However, writing in a post on Twitter, the developer revealed that it’s run into a few bugs that need ironing out before the patch can be rolled off production lines....

Fans became interested in Princess Peach, thanks to her appearances on Saturday morning cartoons. She was an animated character filled who wanted to help her kingdom, but the games often glued her in place in the final ending....
I don’t know what price I’m going to have to pay for breaking what we alchemists call Silentium, but E. Varelli already imposed this knowledge on laymen in “The Three Mothers.” The book opens the second of Dario Argento’s giallo horror film trilogy about these three ancient witches, Inferno. Made in 1980, it followed Argento’s surrealistic masterpiece Suspiria, the remake of which hit theaters this past weekend. The plot line of the Three Mothers is featured heavily in Luca Guadagnino‘s art-house take on Suspiria, but you won’t be getting any spoilers for the new version here....
System Shock remake developer Nightdive Studios has confirmed that it is aiming to ship the game in the first quarter of 2020. The new date comes in light of news that the project had been put on hiatus earlier this year. Speaking with PC Gamer during the Game Developers Conference 2018 last week, CEO Stephen Kick spoke at length about the game’s troubled development, admitting it wasn’t heading in the right direction based on feedback from contributors to its Kickstarter initiative....
Bandai Namco Games has announced that nippy ninja Taki has officially joined the rapidly-expanding roster of SoulCalibur 6. Fans of the venerable fighting game series will no doubt recognise Taki, as she’s been a popular character for years now despite a conspicuous absence in SoulCalibur 5. She returns to the fold here armed with her trusty self-made Rekki-Maru & Mekki Maru short swords, which she uses to great effect in combat....

This The Affair review contains spoilers. The Affair Season 5 Episode 1 “You know who had a choice? You.” The Affair is a show that, at its core, I truly love. I love its concept. I love its cast. And I love how a simple micro-gesture can change the context of an entire story. As The Affair has gone on, it’s perpetually lost focus and fallen more in love with extraneous mysteries, continually propping Noah up as an unwarranted hero, and knocking Alison down to the point that she’s eventually murdered (although I do think the entirely of Alison’s story is beautifully tragic and circular)....

After a turmoiled third entry, EA closed the doors on Dead Space, leaving the survival-horror series to float in space with no help in sight. Fast forward to 2021, and Motive Studio found itself stepping up to the plater reignite the series with a complete remake of the first game. The Dead Space remake is rapidly approaching its launch later this month, and as it reaches that destination, the marketing is picking up the pace....

Universal has snapped up F. Scott Frazier to pen the script for the upcoming movie adaptation of Gears of War, reports The Wrap. Frazier is probably best known for his work on Vin Diesel actioner xXx: Return of Xander Cage, although I’m not sure that’s considered a good thing. He also put pen to paper on Collide, which featured Anthony Hopkins and Nicholas Hoult. Shane Salerno of Armageddon fame was previously attached to write the script for Gears of War, although that is obviously no longer the case....
Announced back in 2017 with a Kickstarter campaign, The Good Life has been more mysterious than its story beats. The game, a brainchild of Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro, the director of Deadly Premonition and D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die, has seen failed Kickstarter campaigns, a demo on Steam, delays and then absolute silence. That changed out of nowhere today, as Swery himself posted a video to his Twitter page announcing that The Good Life will finally be released for PC in summer 2021....
