Housemarque’s PSP classic Super Stardust Portable has had trophies added on PlayStation Plus. This makes it the first PS Plus classic game to have trophies added retroactively. The game originally released in 2007, before PlayStation trophies existed. It was one of the first classics available on PS Plus at launch last year, and the first PSP game to be added. However, at the time Sony stated that adding trophy support to classic games was “optional for developers” and listed the likes of Ape Escape, Hot Shots Golf, IQ Intelligent Qube, and Syphon Filter as games launching on the service with trophies....

Flight School Studio have revealed their new VR game Island Time VR which is an island survival VR game. Stranded on a small island after a shipwreck, players will have to use limited resources and craft tools in order to survive in a race against time. Players will need to stay alive by not starving and generally not doing anything stupid like setting themselves on fire. While stranded on the island you have a buddy called Carl, a crab that id voiced by Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller....

Benoit Blanc’s introductory scene in Glass Onion pairs him with a collection of virtual stage-mates that would make any Hollywood party blush. The Big N has launched a new Switch update today, and it comes packing the ability to transfer save data for individual games between consoles. Handy, eh? Switch update 8.0.0 also offers the chance to make your games collection a bit tidier. You can now sort titles by name, publisher, total play time, and last played, which is useful if your current lineup is a bit of a mess. Elsewhere, Ninty has added an option to stop your console from waking up from Sleep Mode after an AC adapter is disconnected, a zoom functionality, 15 new avatar icons for Splatoon 2 and Yoshi’s Crafted World, and a couple of other bits and bobs....

Team Rocket GO landed at the speed of light into Pokemon Go’s overworld yesterday, conquering Pokestops and defending themselves with Shadow Pokemon. This confirms the suspicions held when a hot air balloon branded with an ‘R’ floated above the Dortmund Pokemon Go Fest (via Eurogamer), and collides with the appearance of a legendary raid boss, Armoured Mewtwo. Rocket Stops are identifiable on the map with a glitching cube that is tinged with a darker shade of blue....

The next set of DLC fighters for brawler Injustice 2 were revealed this weekend at the E-League World Championships, and joining the already announced Atom will be the Enchantress and most intriguingly, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The reveal came in the form of a trailer, embedded below, and gives us an indication that the heroes in a half shell will essentially fight as a team rather than each turtle being an individual fighter, how exactly this will work in-game is yet to be confirmed....

Reef Entertainment has announced that 2019 shooter Terminator: Resistance is to get a next-generation upgrade version on the PlayStation 5 known as Terminator: Resistance Enhanced. The new version will include improved framerates including 60FPS and 4K resolution and “new features” utilising the console’s DualSense controller. It’ll also include all the balance patches and updates previously released on the PC version that includes Infiltrator Mode that sees you play as one of the murderous cyborgs themselves....

Legendary RPG series The Bard’s Tale is getting a full remaster for PC this year, developer inXile Entertainment has announced. The Bard’s Tale Trilogy kicks off next week with a completely spruced up edition of the original dungeon crawler classic, Tales of the Unknown, which launched back in 1985. All three games include the ability to play as a male and female character, enhanced visuals, and numerous quality-of-life gameplay tweaks....

The Batman & Robin follow-up Batman Triumphant, the rumored-but-never-actually-true continuation of the Nolan-verse, and a second return for Michael Keaton (back in the early ’90s) have all fallen through at various stages of development/discussions....

In a recent livestream, some developers from Playground Games sat down to show off the beautiful new biomes that players will enjoy in Forza Horizon 5. Located in Mexico, the new in-game map features a stellar diversity of regions including swamplands, swaths of desert, rocky canyons, thick jungles, rolling farmlands, tropical beaches, an urban city, and arguably the star of the show, the imposing Gran Caldera volcano. Each of the biomes has been crafted with knowledge of Mexico’s diverse geographical features and varied climate....

While the title is misspelled, the surprise Ubisoft Store page for The Division Heartland is still live and gives nice new details for the upcoming battle royale. Though, said store page is only live in the EU version of the store and it is unclear why it is still up. While we already knew The Division Heartland would be free-to-play, we now also know player count in the main battle royale mode....

The latest patch for The Division is now rolling out for the full game on PC, XBox One and PS4. It was previously being tested on the PTS (otherwise known as the Public Test Server). The patch will go live after sever maintenance today. The severs will be down for this maintenance for approximately three hours, which began at 8.30 am BST, so the patch should kick in when they go back up around 11....
