Nintendo has reminded fans that the final DLC character for Super Smash Bros Ultimate will be revealed tomorrow afternoon. The announcement will take the form of the final Mr Sakurai Presents broadcast from the game’s director, Masahiro Sakurai. The forty minute presentation will include details on the fighter including their release date and Mii Fighter costumes. Very good adventure game Lair of the Clockwork God is getting a fancypants, Limited Run, physical release on Switch and PS4. I’m delighted because I’ve got a soft spot for Lair of the Clockwork God. I reviewed it on PC in 2020 and loved it. It’s an adventure game and sometimes a platform game about two characters, Dan and Ben. And they bicker, endlessly. One represents point-and-clicks, and the other, platformers....
Take Two has seemingly revealed in its latest financial results earning call that it has plans to launch a new franchise from Borderlands and Brothers in Arms studio Gearbox Software at some point during the next fiscal year. As reported by Video Games Chronicle, the company announced its intentions to release a whopping 21 games during the current financial year from April 1, 2021 through until March 31, 2022. Those will include four “immersive core” games and two of those from existing franchises, with the other two as new ones as per comments from company CEO Strauss Zelnick....
