The 5 Worst Things Arthur Morgan Did In Red Dead Redemption 2 The 5 Best

Arthur Morgan is undoubtedly one of the greatest, and most complex, protagonists in video game history. When we all heard that the prequel was presenting a new protagonist, we all kind of shook our heads and braced for the disappointment. Luckily, all of our expectations were gloriously surpassed and exceeded. That said, Arthur Morgan is not a good man. But he’s also not an irredeemable man. The game is called Red Dead Redemption after all!...

The Author Of The Witcher Novels Will Now Receive Money From The Games

The author of The Witcher novels will now be receiving a cut of the video games following a demand for sixteen million dollars worth of the profits brought in by The Witcher games, though he likely didn’t receive anywhere near that much money. We reported back in October that Andrzej Sapkowski, the author of The Witcher novels, had demanded sixteen million dollars from CD Projekt Red as a result of his work increasing their profits....

The Dead Room Review A Tight Traditional Ghost Story

This review contains spoilers. A Ghost Story For Christmas is a series of one-off short dramas originally produced annually by the BBC between 1971 and 1978, and produced as occasional treats since 2005 (in 2005, 2006, 2010 and 2013). The majority of these stories are adaptations of M.R. James short stories (and one by Charles Dickens); this is the third specially written screenplay, and the first since the 2005 revival....

The Division Is Free To Play This Weekend On Pc

Ubisoft has announced that its online only first-person shooter, Tom Clancy’s The Division, will be getting a free weekend from September 14-17. This free weekend is only for the PC version of the game, and grants players ‘full access to the base game’s content,’ so that doesn’t include any of the DLC that would come with the season pass. The standard and Gold editions of the game will be getting a discount as part of the promotion, though Ubisoft hasn’t detailed how much this will be....

The Elder Scrolls 22 Weird Things That Happened Between Morrowind And Oblivion

Welcome back to another addition of “look at all the wackiness that happens between the Elder Scrolls games.” Before any of you give me a hard time about how this article is shorter than my last one regarding “What Happened Between Oblivion and Skyrim,” I’d like to point out that Skyrim takes place 200 years after Oblivion. Wanna’ know how soon Oblivion happens after Morrowind? Six years. Still, I managed to find a pretty big handful of events that helped shape the world of Oblivion that is either implied through conversation or context....

The Evil Within 2 Review

Considering the nature of many of its body-horror monsters, it’s weirdly fitting that The Evil Within 2 is a bit of a shambling chimera of a game, with dangling mechanics and ideas roughly sewn onto it. As with those same monsters, it’s also a lot more fun to deal with than that analogy might first indicate. Weirdly, the one aspect of it which is relatively well laid-out is its plotting, which is not something I think anyone who played The Evil Within would expect....

The Evil Within 2 Shows Off New Gameplay Trailer

Bethesda has released a new gameplay trailer for The Evil Within 2, featuring some lovingly crafted (if disturbingly awful) baddies. Years before the events of the first Evil Within, Lily, the daughter of Sebastian Castellanos, died in a house fire. Or at least that’s what he thought happened. The sequel follows Sebastian as he goes to the city of Union to find out the truth about Lily. Obviously nothing could go wrong at all....

The Flash Who Is Savitar

This article contains major spoilers for The Flash season 3 episode 6, “Shade” and 7 “Killer Frost.” Well, we’re about to find out Savitar’s true identity on The Flash Season 3 Episode 20 (note: you can read our full, spoiler-filled review of that episode right here). Don’t worry, though, this is unlikely to turn into another Zoom scenario (what a cheap reveal that turned out to be), and he’s different enough from Reverse-Flash that the mystery that has surrounded this guy for the course of this season is hasn’t felt too repetitive for longtime Flash fans....

The Guardian In The Evil Within 2 Trailer Doesn T Want To Look After Sebastian

Bethesda has released a new gameplay trailer for The Evil Within 2. This five-minute trailer gives players their first look at the giggling, gruesome Guardian as she stalks Sebastian through the corridors. You probably won’t want to look over your shoulder after watching this. I don’t, that’s for sure. This snippet of gameplay is taken from the second chapter in the game. Here we see Detective Sebastian Castellanos being chased through the corridors by a monstrous beast made up of various body parts, known simply as Guardian....

The Last Of Us Part 2 Grounded And Permadeath Modes Are On Their Way

The Last of Us Part 2 is getting Grounded mode and a permadeath toggle switch, discovered through new trophies for the game. In The Last of Us, Grounded was a gruelling mode which would prove a player’s prowess in the post-apocalyptic playground. Diminished supplies, no HUD, and no Listen ability restricted Joel and Ellie’s options, while their enemies got boosted damage. There’s no detail just yet, but it’s likely to play out similarly to the original game’s mode....

The Legend Of Heroes Trails Of Cold Steel Iv Review A Fine Conclusion

Japanese developer Nihon Falcom has been responsible for some of the most ambitious JRPGs over the last 40 years. Chief among them is the Trails series, better known by franchise fans as Kiseki. The unique selling point of the Trails games is that they place an emphasis on world-building and character development above all else. This design focus carries over to Falcom’s latest addition, Trails of Cold Steel IV. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV is the fourth and final game in the Cold Steel tetralogy....

The Legendary Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse Is Less Than Half Price For Prime Day

Prime Day has contained a multitude of peripheral deals, but so far the one I’m most excited about is a heavy reduction to the Logitech G Pro wireless gaming mouse. It’s less than half price right now at £55, saving you £75 off the retail price. That’s a brilliant deal for a mouse that kicked off the current trend for ultra-light models and remains one of the best wireless mouse today....

The Magicians Season 5 Episode 2 Review The Wrath Of The Time Bees

This The Magicians review contains spoilers. The Magicians Season 5 Episode 2 Following Stephanie Quinn’s example, no one here is going to tell The Magicians fans how to grieve, but if “The Wrath of the Time Bees” didn’t help bring some closure for those who miss Quentin Coldwater, nothing will. This episode provides a helpful turning point for Alice even as Eliot is still finding his way, but with Julia and Kady progressing through their respective investigations and Margo finding some measure of victory in Fillory, the story is picking up speed nicely right after the premiere....
