A new Deadpool short is currently showing in cinemas ahead of Logan, but if you haven’t had time to catch the new Wolverine film you can check out the short over on Ryan Reynolds’ YouTube. The short features Wade who is attempting to save a man from an armed assault, but he needs to change into his Deadpool costume before he can come to the rescue. There’s also nod to Nathan Summers, aka Cable, who is expected to feature heavily in the upcoming Deadpool sequel....

This past May, Microsoft hosted its first Xbox Games Showcase, which… didn’t go very well. Just over a month after the launch of The Sims 4’s High School Years expansion, EA has announced another round of bite-sized Kit DLC releases, this time with a focus on children’s wear and desert-inspired furnishings. Both Kits launch next month, starting with The Sims 4 First Fits Kit on 1st September. AMC has announced that The Walking Dead season 10 episode 16, the planned season finale, has been delayed due to the coronavirus emergency. “Current events have unfortunately made it impossible to complete post-production of The Walking Dead Season 10 finale, so the current season will end with its 15th episode on Sunday, April 5. The planned finale will appear as a special episode later in the year,” the network said in a statement....

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt loads much faster on the Nintendo Switch than it does on PS4 and Xbox One, it has been revealed. The information was revealed at Gamescom 2019, where developer CD Projekt Red was present with a brand new Witcher 3 trailer and an official announcement of the release date. A preview article by Japanese language publication Famitsu confirms that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt loads around 40% faster on Nintendo Switch....

Alexis Kennedy, the founder of Failbetter games and creator of Fallen London and Sunless Sea (both of which are excellent games) has expanded on previous remarks about working on an as yet unannounced Dragon Age project. Speaking to PCGamer, Kennedy said that ‘a part of the game will immediately look familiar to anyone who’s played Fallen London and Sunless Sea. There will definitely be that oddness visible in there.’ Kennedy’s comments this refer back directly to ones he made to Eurogamer in May, after which everyone assumed he was referring to a Dragon Age 4 (something which Kennedy says ‘isn’t an insane deduction’, although he also points out he never actually said Dragon Age 4)....

Nintendo has announced that Super Mario 3D All-Stars will recieve an update in November that will include the option to allow players to invert their camera controls. Making the announcement via the official Super Mario Twitter account, the company confirmed that the option will be available in all three games in the collection including Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy. The update is currently scheduled to land for the game on November 17....

This article contains Supergirl spoilers. Supergirl season 5 was unfortunately forced to wrap up early thanks to the coronavirus pandemic that’s shut down much of the industry. And we have no idea when the show will be able to come back to finish its story. While Supergirl Season 6 has already been announced, the show isn’t part of the group of Arrowverse shows slated to return in January 2021. This means we could be waiting well into next summer for Supergirl to be back on our screens, and to find out how the story of Season 5 was meant to end....

It’s come to light that Rockstar, 2K and Private Division parent Take-Two Interactive is working on three unannounced remakes or remasters, all hoping to launch by March 2023. The information was revealed in slides for an investor presentation for the publisher spotted by Video Games Chronicle over the weekend. According to the slide the publisher has six “new iterations of previously released titles” in the works. Three of these include the Grand Theft Auto V release for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 as well as GTA Online’s standalone launch....

There’s a new fighter coming to Tekken 7 and it’s Final Fantasy XV‘s Noctis Lucis Caelum. Revealed this evening on a stream, the new character with his signature Engine Blade joins the fight for the King of Iron Fist Tournament in spring 2018 when he will be released. Other points to note while the World Tour Finals are on today are that Geese Howard is almost completed for the DLC release and they are moving the game over to a newer version of Unreal Engine....

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered is a mouthful, isn’t it? Despite that fact, we would gladly say it a thousand times over just to get the word out. This may be a six or eight-year-old game, depending on one’s region, but it still feels incredibly fresh and worthwhile today. This is true even compared to recent juggernauts like Dragon Quest XI and Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
