A recent trial study has found that playing two hours of video games a week can make you more employable. The study, conducted by Matt Barr, a Glasgow University lecturer, suggests that modern video games reward critical thinking and problem solving, qualities that are sought in university graduates. Some of the games involved in the study were Borderlands 2, Minecraft, Portal 2, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos....
Korean studio NCSoft has released a trailer for its forthcoming dramatic thriller Project M. Developed in Unreal Engine 5 and releasing on console, the team is aiming for ultra-realistic graphics - and it’s certainly achieving that. Judging by a blog post accompanying the trailer, NCSoft appear to be using 3D scanning, motion capture, and special effects, resulting in some incredibly detailed character models. The rest of the Star Fox team arrives in Starlink: Battle for Atlas’s Crimson Moon update. Somehow, without ever really intending to do it, Ubisoft accidentally created the fourth Star Fox game. It’s not called Star Fox–it’s actually called Starlink: Battle for Atlas, and it was originally intended as Ubisoft’s cool “toys-to-life” sci-fi space shooter game. Ubisoft still had a partnership with Nintendo in place when it was released back in October, so to give the Switch a little extra love, they added in Star Fox as a bizarre playable cameo....

As an April Fool’s Day joke last year, developer Lilith Walther revealed the fan-made game, Bloodborne Kart. The hilarious Mario Kart-inspired take on FromSoftware’s action RPG hit was a surprise announcement, following in the footsteps of Bloodborne PSX. Walther has now confirmed that Bloodborne Kart is real game that will release “as soon as it’s ready.” A new trailer was posted recently, on the day of Bloodborne‘s 7-year anniversary.
