Supermassive Games has released a lengthy gameplay trailer for The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, and it’s intriguing. The game has been recently postponed from its expected release in summer to autumn instead. “Our priority, throughout, has been the safety of our team,” said executive producer Pete Samuels, and the studio has grappled with the challenges of coordinating a large team remotely. However, the delay will let employees stay safe while the pandemic continues, and will improve the game with more time and resources....

Following the return of The Tomorrow Children’s IP to Q-Games from Sony, today the Kyoto-based developer announced the game’s return officially. The new release, which is coming at some point in 2022, will be appropriately dubbed The Tomorrow Children: Phoenix Edition. It will come for both PS5 and PS4 and it’ll have enhancements for PS5, which is definitely interesting considering that the original PS4 game looked quite amazing. The PS4 version itself will also have new features and The Tomow Children will be released as a premium title with peer-to-peer multiplayer support....

Following on from Nintendo’s earnings report today, the company has disclosed that the Switch is only just in the “middle of its lifecycle”. During Nintendo’s earning report, company president Shuntaro Furukawa said sales of the Nintendo Switch continue to grow and have already surpassed 100m units sold. While the rate of sales has slowed down over the last 12 months, something that has been attributed to the ongoing chip shortages that have also plagued PlayStation 5 sales, Furukawa is not concerned this is on ongoing trend....

Telltale Games has responded to the recent news surrounding the second episode of Batman: The Enemy Within where an image bears a unquestionably close resemblance to a photo take of the assassinated Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlov just after he was killed by a Turkish police officer in December 2016. This image has now been patched out of the game entirely. After the release of the second episode last week some people began to notice a similarity between the photo of Karlov’s body and a scene in the game where a guard lies dead in the aftermath of a robbery at the Gotham Brokerage....
