Telltale has secured yet another high profile partnership, this time adding the world of Marvel to its slate of franchises from which to create games.
A brief note on the developer’s blog confirmed the partnership.
“Announced this evening in San Francisco, we’re excited to reveal an all-new partnership with the incredible team at Marvel Entertainment. We’ll be teaming up on the development of an upcoming Telltale game series project set to premiere in 2017!
“As always, stay tuned here for the latest news and details on this and all of our upcoming projects as they become available…”
Marvel joins the likes of Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Minecraft all with active games in development at Telltale. There’s also the recent investment from Lionsgate which could lead to the creation of “episodic television series based on our game properties”.
