The hunt is on for the strange new creatures known as Temtem. Their game is taking the world by storm thanks to it finally delivering on the promise of a Pokémon MMO. It could also be that gamers have some time on their hands as they wait for all of the recently-delayed games to come out. Whatever the case, Temtem are here and they demand to be captured. This time we’re going to focus on a Temtem known for being as deadly as it is cute – the Mental/Toxic-type Adoroboros.
Adoroboros’ name pretty much says it all. It’s adorable and its design calls upon the Ouroboros, an Egyptian tale of a serpent that ate its own tail. The Ouroboros also has ties to alchemy. While Adoroboros doesn’t munch on its own behind, it does carry the Toxic type which could be a reference to alchemy. This results in a cute lil thing that can easily poison foes.
Where To Find Adoroboros
Players will have to be a bit patient to find Adoroboros. It doesn’t spawn on the first island. Instead, it can be found on the island of Tucma. Once on Tucma, seekers of the Adoroboros must go to Xolot Reservoir. The cute poison serpent is pretty common in the grass. It should appear at around level 30.
How To Evolve Adoroboros
As of Temtem’s early access launch, Adoroboros does not evolve.
What Adoroboros Does In Battle
Temtem puts more emphasis on 2v2 battles than Pokémon. As such, Temtem strategy must consider how well a Temtem works with others. In Adoroboros’ case, it is a team player through and through. It’s Technique list is filled with support moves. It can poison opponents, remove the poison from its allies, and even sacrifice itself to give an ally a massive Defense boost.
Adoroboros can also pack a punch. But again, its true talents are brought out by its friends. As of now, Adoroboros is the only Temtem that can learn Psychic Collaborator. The move only deals one damage most of the time, but will be boosted to 170 damage if Adoroboros is next to another Mental-type. So as you can see, Adoroboros needs a BFF in battle.
