Ninty will be launching an official range of Switch charging stands this summer, the company announced on Twitter.
While this may seem a bit dull at first, it’s actually pretty big news for Switch owners. Chances are you’ve played the console propped up in tabletop mode, right? If so, you’ll likely know that it’s not possible to charge the hybrid system in this state while playing a game; a major problem for when you fancy tucking into a lengthy session.
Ta-dah! The Nintendo Switch Adjustable Charging Stand solves that particular issue.
Nintendo will begin flogging the accessory in July for $19.99, though right now there’s no UK price point doing the rounds.
Switch has been selling like hotcakes since its launch in March 2017, becoming the fastest selling console in US history.
