The Tick Canceled After Two Seasons

The Tick creator and showrunner Ben Edlund shared the news on his personal Twitter account.

Shortly after The Tick Season 2 premiered in April, Edlund shared his thoughts regarding a potential third season with us, saying:

Sounds like Edlund was itching for one of TV’s most beloved recent tropes: a time jump. And that would make sense given how much The Tick and Arthur have already accomplished in their own timeframe. Arthur and The Tick did the seemingly impossible and defeated The Terror in Season 1. Then in season 2 they navigated the bureaucracy of superherodom and even flushed some bad actors out of AEGIS.

The Tick starred Peter Serafinowicz as the titular blue superhero and Griffin Newman starred as his trusty sidekick, Arthur.
